TM 100 - Multimedia & Wireless Communications Technologies


This course explores the evolution of multimedia, networks, and wireless technologies. Empahsis is placed on a business management approach to technological content rather than the scientific and mathmatical approach.

The lecture section defines distributed data processing types and techniques; explores various types of networks, IP addressing, subnetting, and approaches to determine the best network for a business environment, and, an exploration of the impact of current and future wireless technologies on the business environment.

The resource section is rich with resources and links to various Websites covering topics on multimedia, networks, wireless and future technologies.
